Taken on ISO 800 Fuji film, and scanned. Some curves work here with colour, and some noise reduction too.
This shot is important for me for two reasons. One: it is similar to my first-ever published photograph (called "leave"). Second: it is the first time I've laid down completely prone to take a shot in a long time. I had forgotten what that's like. Your body and physicality are so much of your spirituality and what you "see" when engaged in artistic processes - something about having your belly to the earth, breathing into it while you work to highlight the magic of existence - something about that is awesome. It's amazing I had forgotten.
